6 pot calipers

Postby Sam01 » Thu Aug 25, 2016 5:25 pm

Hi all, I've been reading a lot about caliper upgrades in particular the 6 pot GSXR calipers, can anyone who has done this mod tell me whether or not these have to be filed out at the top the same as the nissin 4 pots. Cheers in advance.

Thanks, cheers. Just had a pair of BT023's fitted today (replacing my old Avon's) what a difference feels fantastic so took it up to Devils Bridge up the M6 and back over the A65,
This weekend fairing off, give it a service and a good spit and polish (sad, I know) :)

With regards to another thread on here.
The rear caliper is off early Hayabusa (gold) bolts straight on without any spacing all that is required is where the stabaliser bolt goes through the caliper that needs to be bored out, the ZZr uses a larger bolt.

Hope this helps.
