Stoooooopid question time......apologies

Postby Stonefly » Thu Sep 12, 2013 4:56 pm

Hi folks, sorry for the stupid question but..............
I just bought a 2005 ZZR1200 and it has no owners manual with it so......... I cant find a switch for the headlights. Are they just permanently switched on with the ignition or is there a way to switch them off? I.E just run on sidelights.
Cheers (and please don't be too hard on me Pray )

Never been close up to these but aren't the lights
relay controlled from the ignition ...may be wrong
though.

I think ALL bikes, after about 2002 have hard-wired lights.... i.e. on as soon as you start the engine. Mine's a C2H, on an 05 plate, and I have no on/off switch.

Cheers, that's all I wanted to know. I was a bit confused as I didn't know about hard wired lights. My ZZR6 has normal switched lights so I was expecting the same on the ZZR12
