I had the BattleAxe BT016 I think. They may have been made crappy by a lot of hwy riding by prior owner when I bought the used bike, not sure. I did not like them.
I'm now on my second set of Dunlop Sportmax Q3 tires and love them (referred shortened to as Q3 tires commonly).
The Q3 are very well reviewed and have excellent grip / traction. If they do incur a little slide they are quite predictable. I probably milked my first set too far, and got 8300 miles on them and they were down to exposed wire.

Had Michelin Road Pilot 2 front and rear. Changed them this week after 8k miles. The front was just legal and the rear had 2.5mm left. I do 150 miles a week through some twisties, towns and a few (ahem) 60mph stretches. Only one slide on the front on a very cold morning on an off camber corner. No panic and it was easily held. Checked the tyre pressure after and it was too low.

No punctures despite riding hatcings.

Best tyres I've used on all my 1000cc plus bikes for price, performance and longevity.
