new rear shock?

Postby chay250 » Tue Dec 13, 2011 6:31 pm

hi - any of you guys out there replaced the rear shock on you bikes? got my zzr stripped for a fiddle and a clean up over the winter and thought i may as well change the standard shock - i don't want to pay a fortune for ohlins and the like so after doing a bit of research the nitron came up as favoroute with two way remote adjustable damping seems middle of the road at £517inclusive of v.a.t.(still not exactly cheap!) the maxton which i wanted was £567+v.a.t. and most other makes are above that price. anyone know or recomend anything better before i part with some hard earned dosh?

Had the rear replaced on my ZZR1400 with an Ohlins and the front forks have been re-sprung and re-oiled, everything has been set up for my riding weight by MCT of Stowmarket, and the difference is unbelievable!!
